Independent Living Programs Building Futures For Youth!
Do you need long-term treatment and support to change your life from "at-risk" to "in-charge?" Then SafeHouse is here for youth with two options that are on the up and up to make your life easier - Independent Living Program (ILP) and Main Street Transitional Living Program (TLP).ILP is for boys ages 16 to 18 and is provided at our Thousand Palms Safehouse in the beautiful Coachella Valley. This program equips you with the tools you'll need - education, employment assistance, life-skills training - to transition into the world of adulthood. These youth services keep crisis at bay while you devlope into a strong, independent man who can make his own way in the world.
The Main Street Transitional Living Program (TLP) is a continuation of our ILP program but is open to all homeless youth, both male and female, ages 18-21. Upon acceptance of your application you will be provided with living quarters in Riverside, California as well as counseling, life-skills training and employment assistance as you the transition from a homeless street youth to successful independent adults.
Both programs provide education, individualized therapy, employment assistance—helping you achieve your academic goals, secure employment, and develop a healthy self-perspective for getting through life. These programs provide you with a road map to start building your successful future while having a safety net to catch you when you make mistakes.
